Yesss it's finally here!!! I finally got my hand on the "The Book" that has been buzzing in the social network right now.
I know i know, some of you complained that the book costs an arm and a leg, especially when you convert it to your country's currency, some even moaned and groaned.
So is the book worth it?
Let me give you my honest opinion.

BKKGuide : From Don Mueang Airport to Mo Chit and Silom
Here is a guide for those of you who are new to Bangkok!! So BangkokVirgins.. pay attention!!
How to get to Silom / Mo Chit from Don Mueang Airport.
While some would prefer a taxi which is much easier, nevertheless, you must wait in a loooong line first.
Taking a bus is much more cheaper, faster, and it is easy too.
here's how.
Step one :
Exit through the no 6 door at the Don Mueang Airport
That is the place where you can wait for your bus, don't worry, it won't be long..
the ticket is 30 bht.
your bus is here ( it's the A1 Bus)
let's go!!
around 20 minutes (more or less) the bus will stop at Mo Chit. Again, don't worry, the conductor will inform you that you have arrived at Mo Chit.
now there are two options here :
you can either take the MRT (Chaktuchak Station) or the BTS (Mo Chit Station)
MRT Chaktuchak station will take you directly to Silom (stop at Silom station), the price is 42 baht, and the station is just in front of you when the bus stops.
however, on the minus side, it takes longer time to reach Silom, as there are many stops. And of course, there is a security check where you have to open your bags when you are about to enter inside the MRT station.
For some ( like me) it would be such a hassle, especially if you carry a lot of' bags, or heavy ones.
Buy your ticket, and go to platform 1, which is to Hua Lamphong. And of course, get off when you've reached the Silom station, as easy as ABC..!!
Option 2.
BTS Mo Chit.
as the bus dropped you down, you need to walk a bit further from Chaktuchak MRT station to get to the Mo Chit BTS Station. And how far is it? Just a 1 minute walk from the Chaktuchak MRT Station... yeah, it's not that far!!
Once you're there, take the ticket to SALADENG, which is only 42 baht. ( don't have coins? then change it at the counter!)
Now, here is the tricky part that the BKK Virgins found it confusing.
You need to take the BTS and stop at the Siam Station, as the Mo Chit station will not take you directly to Saladeng.
When you arrived at the Siam Station, as you step out from the skytrain... just look in front of you. There's another skytrain coming on the opposite side.
Yup, you don't need to trouble yourself looking for which station/ platform to go to Saladeng, because it is just in front of you.
And if you still doubtful, the skytrain to Saladeng is on Platform 3.
take the skytrain, and less than five minutes, you have reached your destination, Silom..
and your adventure in Bangkok begins......
and ps: by taking the skytrain, you'll reach Silom in about 30 minutes. MRT, is about 40 minutes. So pick your choice!!!

BANGKOK SHUTDOWN 2014 : MBK
Today, all the rally site has been dismantled, and they have moved to Lumphini.
Though i'm glad that BKK shutdown is over, but i couldn't help myself feel sorry for the beautiful park as it is now been "raped" by these protestors.
Anyway, back to the BKK Shutdown rally site, this one was in MBK... and personally, this site caused me displeasure and anger towards Suthep and the protestors..
why...
MBK before the shutdown...
and now... during the shutdown...
Tents were every parts of the streets near MBK
even the BTS walkway was blocked..
i personally hated this site as i saw lots of "outsiders" having no business whatsoever involved in this mayhem, other than the fact that they were paid by Suthep...
And such mayhem had out businesses in MBK on hold, and caused inconviences to many....
yes... there were so few people in MBK.... i felt like i was in Twilight Zone..
only one exit to BTS... erghhhhhhhhhh!!!
anyway... glad that its over.... but according to Suthep.. it is far from over...
well... we will have to just wait and see.....
